Confidence with Christ!

This blog is dedicated to my most precious and loving friend of mine. Thank you for sharing your story. I know that one day God will wipe off all of our tears and sadness and change it with joy and peace. :)

Every billion person in the world is born to be beautifully broken and this means we are neither perfect nor flawless. In fact, God has created and molded us beautifully broken. Remember that God loves us more than we ever imagined because He is the one who created us!

I'll tell an inspiring story of the person whom I knew for letting God be the center of her heart. There was a girl who grew up as awkward, shy, and quiet, and a struggled of nurturing her self-esteem. Despite her flaws, others have perceived her as a God-fearing, good daughter, sweet, kind, smart, and blessed with good looks (similar to celebrities' standards of beauty, think about a Philippine actress named Shaina Magdayao, and American models named Alexandria Morgan and Kate Upton. This lady strongly resembles these three famous celebrities :)).

However, this girl cannot see these blessings that come from Him. The reason behind this scenario is that she doubts God and always concentrates both on others' opinions and her weaknesses. As a best friend of this lady, I have seen her struggles in adapting to a new environment, socializing, being a loner, and even her painful and crying moments. As her friend of mine, I was always seeking God to help her to get through her rough times. At the same time, I always come with her when she attends her chaplaincy or counseling appointment to soothe her painful distresses.

My friend is Filipino. She was born in the Philippines the same year that I was born, 1997. As she tells me, everyone in their household was very fond of her due to her blessed looks and appeal. During her preschool times, she experienced some bullying and physical harassment from some of her classmates through insulting and spanking. My friend of mine has also told me about the maltreatment that she receives from her hired caregiver.

During her primary years of schooling (Grades 1 - 6), she experienced a lot of harassment from most of her classmates, teachers, and even her caregiver. I asked, how? She responded that she experienced the humiliation of her caregiver in front of her schoolmates, teachers, and classmates. Not only that, but my friend has also harassed by some of her teachers especially when she was in 1st year of primary schooling. This includes painful tones of voice, harsh words, and anything that suppresses her self-worth. Her classmates even discouraged her from achieving her own dreams which is tearful. She was always victimized for being 'mentally impaired' even though I was so angry that she has to experience these harsh incidents which I could say were 'very unfair' and very 'injustice.' As her sister-of-mine, I was thinking of seeking justice for those people who have hurt her both emotional and spiritual health. During her primary years of schooling, she has also encountered money scamming and blackmailing. Sometimes, if she cannot manage these crooks, her parents should talk to her teacher narrating what she has gone through in the company of her classmates. There was an incident when her teacher forced her to sing and do what she could not do in front of her classmates ending up humiliated and worthless. Her classmates and other people kept putting her down, discouraging her self-identity and showing that she has neither skills nor talents that she can use to do her part.

I have seen enough of these injustices! I feel so sorry that she has to go to these lengths! I have heard too much! I was asking God to fulfill her frustrations and heal every part of her damaged soul! I believe that God has many plans for her so I gave everything that I can provide and let Him make a way.

A few years later, I know this might be long for us, but my best friend has risen like a golden phoenix from its ashes! After her major suffering from major depression, bullies, and mockeries, she is ready again to conquer the world with God as she learns about Him and the miracles that He creates for us!

Have a blessed day!
